My Classes
I believe that yoga is for everyone. No matter your experience, age, or flexibility level there’s a class for you. If you’re brand new to yoga, I recommend starting off with a private class or the beginner series so that you learn the correct alignment for each pose and your body. Learning the correct alignment will provide you with a solid foundation from which you can safely grow your yoga practice, without the risk of injury.
What can you expect from my class?
My classes fuse mindfulness techniques, such as pranayama breathing, with vinyasa flow and fun! The class sequence is focused on preparing the body for the peak pose so that you can safely enter and enjoy the pose.
Private Classes
$65 1 hr
One-on-one private class (video). Each session can be tailored to focus on your particular need or goal.
Private classes can be a great first step to learning proper alignment and building a healthy foundational practice from which you can advance.
Beginner Series
Have you thought about trying yoga but hold some belief that you don’t have the right body type or level of flexibility? Maybe you dipped into a few classes but felt lost in some of the flows. Then this class is for you.
This four week series focuses on learning the correct alignment for all of the basic poses. After taking this course you will be able to flow through foundational poses with confidence. This will be a group class limited to four participants to allow for individual attention.
Next series starting the week of April 12th.
Join me on April 10th to deepen your understanding of the poses and correct alignment for the poses included in the traditional sun salutation series. In this workshop we’ll:
Examine the component parts of the traditional sun salutation series
Learn the correct and safe alignment for each pose
Examine the role of the breath and how it connects each pose
Understand correct alignment and adjustments for your body
After completion of the workshop beginners will feel confident flowing through a sun salutation series and more experienced practitioners will learn how to reduce the risk of injury from repetitive stress, through modifications.
Date: April 10th - 11am ET.
